Purl Bee, you had me at block printed linen.
Since this sewing tutorial was published over 18 months ago, I doubt I’ll find that particular linen around anymore. But even plain linen would be marvelous for this project or why not block print your own with some good old fashioned potato stamps and fabric paint?
You can use these stash baskets to hold your yarn, of course, but how about rolled hand towels for a pretty handmade touch in a washroom?
Putting together a gift basket? Skip the wicker and fill a stash basket with your gift instead. Fill it with diapers and a wipes for a new mom to use as nursery storage long after the diapers have served their purpose.
There are a thousand uses for these classic fabric baskets, so go get some linen (and potatoes) and get to work!
